I searched a lot for making association with a grouped product or a configurable product .
I went to and fro all i found on web was some junk php code . Going through the raw WSDL , i found something called "CatalogProductLinkAssign" in Magento SOAP v2 .
just use this call's xml to assign products . I got this worked like a charm , moved all my Kit Items / Group Items from NetSuite to Magento , like a charm.
